Chchchchanges....

And I'm not talking about the changes I'm going through with my life (marriage, move, etc). I'm talking about the changes a foal can make in a short time frame.

Do you remember meeting this sweet face last April?

Here he is today.

Isn't he cute?!

He's only about 7 months old. And check out this '09 yearling. He's gorgeous! It's amazing how quickly they grow.

  1. I LOVED that baby picture and figured he'd gray out real quick due to those eyes ;o) and the yearling is adorable, too. However, I have a twinge of sadness because the bigger the baby, the more likely it will be ridden, too soon, and there will start the injuries to baby joints. Sigh.

As a DVD I have against the practice of rollkur states, riding a THREE-year-old amounts to "child abuse." And these TBs are racing at two.

    Again, sigh.

    Adorable pictures, though.

  2. I can't believe how fast he grayed out, wow! These shots make me miss working in the breeding industry.

  3. I LOVE that gray baby... I thought it was just the "goggles" that made him cute, but he's adorable even grayed out!

  5. Woah not even the same horse! He greyed quick. Indigo was about that colour when she was 10.
